Looking for a budget tapered headset to go in a Sanderson frame;

Any recommendations?

Woud be using tapered suspension forks, but I would need a 1 1/8" crown race adaptor to allow me to also use rigid forks - are these universal or unique to the headset?

Cheers

Most headset bearings these days are 45 degrees so crown races and adaptors are pretty well universal

The crown race angle is not necessarily fixed, the 45 degree spec refers to the frame-bearing interface. It is recommended to either brand-match the crown race and bearing or check the angles beforehand.
