Sorry, probably a very dumb question but I seem to be going around in circles here...! Looking to put some Pikes in my Nomad - Pikes are tapered, Nomad is 1.5" non-tapered, currently with a Chris King headset.
Is there a cheap way to put a reducer in there or do I need a new headset?
I've found various reducers to put a standard fork in a tapered headset but not the other way around! Confused!
Half of a new headset would work - get a top Hope Mix/Match headset for it. Something like no. 4 on this [url= http://www.merlincycles.com/hope-pick-n-mix-headset-cups-55430.html ]Merlin link[/url].
There may be spacers available - or cheaper options than Hope - but this should get you going.
(Please check the right cup before you buy - Hope have a good document on all their headsets which I didn't read before posting above so it may not be no. 4 you need).
