I have done a search and can't find any past posts 🙁 including a google search.

I have loads of bit and really none of them fit together due to nothing being standard fit anymore (not like the good old days)

Anyway...

I have managed to get a BB to fit a BB30 chainsets to a 'standard' GXP style BB shell (not tried it yet)

So not I have the issue if the forks that I have a tapered steerer and my frame is a 'standard' 1 and 1/8th head tube. I need to find a head set that will fit...

I have seen this but the little amount of info about it I am not to sure if it will work (but my head tube is not internal) http://mbbearings.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=53&products_id=726

Good luck with this one.

I don't fancy your chances.

I don't think you can do it.

a 1&1/8 will fit a tapered HT with an adapter, but I don't think you can get a tapered steerer ina 1&1/8 HT.

That link is for 44mm headtubes, not std 1&1/8 ones BTW

Tapered steerer is 38.1mm.
1/8th headtube is 33.8mm.
But by all means keep looking.
Let us know how you get on with the bb30 chainset and bsa bb as well 😉

I think that is an internal headset and not external so I guess it has the 44mm and not the 33.8mm dimensions as suggested by Rorschach...

I now think it may not be possible without a dangerously long bottom cup.

Cheers all anyway.
