I really want to pull my finger out and start training to a plan - I have just downloaded Joe Friel's book following on from advice on here so I will have a read of that.

I average around 100km a week at the moment at around 27-28km/hr on a 30km flat ish ride and around 22-24km/h on a 60km plus ride with more climbing. I have stage 4 arthritis in my knee which gets in the way a bit - no quad in my right leg to speak of so that does hold me back a bit especially on longer rides where I get fatigued. I think that is what I would like to work on the most, increasing my endurance for longer rides.

What training plans should I be looking at? BC? Training Peaks or something else? I have HR and Cadence but no power meter.... I have a very basic turbo....

Read the book first?

That has "how to build a training plan" in it...

What nath said.
Read the book, decide some goals a bit more specific, bake your own plan based on the book.
Might not be 100% bang up to date with the very latest knowledge, but will let you build a solid plan thats easily as good as anything pre-baked you can download.
