Loving my new commuter bike (Genesis Smithfield) and really liking the moustache bars that came with it. Think I’d like to try something a tad longer with a bit more back sweep for that ultra bimbler experience. Any recommendations from the STW crew?

I might be wide of the mark, but is a moustache bar with more backsweep a north road bar? Might give you some more google ammo, anyway!

Ritchie kyote bars?  I think thats the type you mean.  I love 'em but do have to cut them down from the daft width ( to me)

Soma Sparrow bars are very nice. Come in various widths. Can be used upside down for an upright sit up and beg position too. 25.5 clamp means I use a different stem to normal, but a shim is just as easy.

A bit different but a bit similar - less backsweep but more width (20 degree sweep) so may not be what you want...These give a similar position to "normal" riser, as they first go frontward with a 20 deg bend, then back 20 deg bend so hands end up in similar position with the same stem.

My favorite handlebar, and I am sad there are not more of this type. My wrists really love these, and I have issues with many "normal" bars. Mentioning this only because I have been so happy with these, I have a Jones bar (big sweep back!) on my other much-ridden bike but I like both equally well.

Also from Jones -

Very much back.

Plenty of Nitto offerings about, look into Albatross, Billies, Choco's, M's Bar, even Magic Components Moth bars? Try Freshtripe

Points off for thread title. You know it should have been

"Handlebars for my bike, moustache you a question."

Hang thy head.

Also. Moustache bars are like drops flattened, HOw do you get more back sweep?!

Handlebars for my bike, moustache you a question

I wish I could edit the title now. Backsweep is  possibly the wrong term. More curvy, like a Fu-Manchu combined with a classic handlebar in ‘Stache terms.

Thanks for the input everyone. Plenty to look at. I love a bit of Ti but not on the commuter!

Thats a moustache bar.

Practical cycles is often a good place to look for odd things*

Gumpert moons and things like that. Nitto are more spendy. And weirdly raleigh often have north road and aome interesting bar shapes and not much cost.

*On one used to be great for weird bars.

I have a pair of Whisky Winston bars. They are tremendously comfortable even though they made my wallet cry. Mid-Audax: https://flic.kr/p/2puS7g4
