Existing Hope Pro 2 Evo hubs F+R, is it possible to get them to fit a 12 speed shimano cassette (105 R7100 11-36) and also to fit 12mm bolt thru axles (100x12 front and 142x12 rear)? If so, what adaptors do I need?

Thanks!

Pro 2 Evo or pro 2 Evo 40t rear? Latter will accept a free hub that will take a road cassette. Don't think the former will. Both can goto 142x12. Front will do 100x12, same adapter as pro 4 iirc.

Pro 2 Evo, if it helps ID they’re the limited edition pink ones. Can you change freehub body?

Adaptors will work but you’d need a 12 speed road freehub. Not sure they make one for such old hubs.

Actually, just had a look and seems the 12 speed also fits 11 speed hg freehub, so you should be ok.

Hub242 for the rear. Very bottom of the link I posted says X12 to convert 135 to 142.

Hub482 for the front

Not if you want 142 by 12mm, HUB493 is the boost conversion kit.

For what you asked for, 100×12 front and 142×12 rear, I think you need HUB482 on the front and HUB242 on the rear. No idea about road cassettes, check what Nixie says as he's probably right.

Edit: Beaten to it.

Thanks all. Hmm the expense of getting wheels rebuilt (with new rims and having them converted) is looking similar cost to buying a new factory wheel set.
