My wife has just bought a pair of degu's and a huge cage for them to run around in. Does anyone here have any experience of them?
I have no experience with them but if i didnt already have 2 cats and a bearded dragon i would love some degu's, i find them hillarious and spend ages watching them in pets at home
lol, we have 2 cats one just hissed continuously at them for the first day and the other kept trying to find ways of getting in the cage. they are fine now though
they are really funny and within a week we have them coming out of the cage to feed from our hands
Yes - we inherited a cage of four of them from a girl at work who wanted to save them from her three Staffies(!).
Cute but very noisy on occasions 🙂 You've just got to be careful with their diet too, prone to getting tubby and developing cataracts as one of ours has (not that it seems to slow them down any)...
15mins at 180oC , serve with sweet chilli dipping sauce...
