I've always had 6 bolt but are ther any benefits to cl. The discs themselves are more expensive because of the extra machining I guess. Do the adaptors work? I'm asking because there's a chance for some cheap(er) wheels.
Horses for courses. Depends upon what you already have, I'd stick with the same just for redundancy purposes.
For spare wheels, think of having similar swap out systems just in case. If a bent rotor, you can swap from a spare wheelset if using the same fittings. I perfer to have spares as close as what's fitted already. Three of my five bikes have a spare set of wheels, all as close as possible to the wheelset fitted already.
I have both, they both work and I'm also happy running centrelock adapters which I have done many times in the past.
What wheels are you looking at and how much saving over the six bolt alternative?
Thanks, thepurist, I'd missed that.
