Will I die?
or more to the point, is it a total PITA? expensive / surcharges etc?
The last I heard they wanted £100 each way. I can't believe they're still doing this though.
The feeling I get with Ryanair (and I have to use them many times a year) is that they'd be much happier if they had no passengers to deal with.
I wouldn't take a human on Ryan air, much less a bike.
Right a bit of perspective. 3 of us flew to Girona last week to go to SSEC. We took bike bags. It cost more for the bikes than it did for the seats BUT it was the only option we had to get there when we wanted. So, given they screw you over on price for the bag and it's just a cheap and cheerful flight it's actually ok. We got on, we got there on time, it wasn't particularly uncomfortable, we got off.
How much was it to take bikes? My local airport is Reus so Ryanair or.... well Ryanair.
Thanks all.
Just booked the flights with easyjet. September in Slovakia for me and better half, [best trails ever according to singletrack mag article a couple of years back]. Brother in law decided to have his wedding just over the border in Austria, How considerate of him!
I am booked to come back from Malaga with them a week Tuesday and it cost me £50 extra one way for the bike.
It might be pricey, but you can't beat riding your own steed
