Anyone got any? Thoughts?

I'm trying to get out on the roadie for about an hour a couple of mornings a week, and I'm thinking of getting some rollers for those mornings when it's just too minging.

I looked at these but heard of reliabilty problems so went for a set of Elite Arion Parabolic Rollers from Wiggle on sale at £150, should have been £200.

Going to fall off them for the first time tonight

I started with the Elite Arion Parabolic Rollers, then upgraded to their V-Arion Parabolic Inertial Rollers when I realized that I'd never need a turbo trainer again. Both are very good.

Just make sure you've got something to hang on to when you use them the first few times. Takes a while but its well worth it.

What's the advantage of the metal barrel ones?

Antares are good, we use ours around 6 times a week between the three of us, for the last three years no problems. The elite parabolics are easier to ride as you can't ride off the edge so easy, but we wouldn't swap. Antares tend to be the ones clubs use as they are reliable.
