Looking for a bit of advice here, anyone fitted a 40t cassette expander to a 11-34 10sp, I am running single 34 thick thin up front and works well but end of day tired legs need an option.

Thought it had to be fitted to 36/11 so the shift to 40t wasn't too severe..

I'm also considering a 40t Rex, but run a 30nw front and zee rear mech, not sure if the mech will cope.. Any ideas?

depends on how much chain growth your frame has, but yes 🙂

Seen the link cheers, 5spot with dw link so think chain growth is minimal, anyhow I shouldn't use much travel climbing on an expander ring.. I'm gonna buy one and fingers crossed..

I use a Zee on a Trance X and it works fine with the T-Rex. I tried a long cage XT mech, and there was no difference in performance, so I stuck with the Zee.
