does anyone know what size thread the hanger bolt is ?

I think it's M12x1 (fine thread).
One of my bikes has a Syntace X12 rear axle. Never measured the thread - but it looks indeed "fine" to me. The M12x1 information I have from the www .
If important I could take the rear wheel out and try to measure...

The hanger bolt is much smaller. More like a M8 fine. I can check

Using a ruler it looks like 1mm but I wouldn't fully trust that until another confirms

uuups - sorry. You are right. It's about the hanger bolt ... M12x1 is the thru axle.
