Are these all the same? Any reason to spend £45 on one for my Cotic Soul from Cotic or £20 ish from elsewhere? Really don't know how my shed of doom hides such things 🙁
As long as the length is correct then get it from where ever.
I may be wrong, but I'd also be checking thread size, pitch and length.

You are correct. Found this when buying a new axle to fit a bike trailer. Thankfully both of my bike have the same pitch so only needed one axle for both.
Google's AI suggests the Soul has a pitch of P1.5, but I'd get proper confirmation on that before ordering anything.

Normally I'd also recommend this but IIRC the Syntace compatible axles have only one thread/pitch combination.
Ooo... where are the Syntace ones £20?
(ideally actually in stock and in the UK)
I saw the Syntace ones on Winstanleys.
are they any different to the Decathlon ones?
Thanks all.
Winstanleys and Paul's but warehouse stock and so perhaps not actually available 🤔. 7 day dispatch and so I guess I'll see (or find my original one just after I pay).

Yes, they are different. The Syntace ones have a tapered thread and need a special nut in your frame (I think).
If I needed to buy a new rear thru-axle I think I'd be tempted to get one of these, knowing I could swap it round between any/most frames that had the same pitch thread (the ability to mount a rack would be a bonus):
