These seem to good to be true, apart from the price. But nice wide rims and pretty light, anyone got any real world experience of them?
I had a look at them at a bike show. They look beautifully made and I totally believe the claimed weights as they felt very light. The 10 year 2 stage warranty would suggest that Syntace believe that the wheels are robust.
How they've managed to make a rim that wide so light and strong I don't know.
Found some quite wide Spank rims but would build up quite a bit heavier than the Syntaces, with biggish tyres the w35s would be perfect.
I'm looking at these rather than carbon at the moment. Can you buy the rims separately?
