Off to Swinley tomorrow morning and am a bit short on time, is there a direct route straight to the start of the red run ?
I have been a couple of times so not overly familiar with the place and would like to spend more time on the red run tomorrow.
Thanks
Demoing a Bird ?
No not demoing a Bird, is there a demo day tomorrow ?
Easiest route (assuming there's no diversions) - follow Blue until start of blue 5. Instead of blue 5 turn right and follow the big fire-road along to the Upper Star post. Pick up the red there. You'll have only missed red 1 - which is almost non existent and red 2 - which is currently probably underwater.
well - unless you want to actually park at Swinley, park at the car park at the end of dogshit alley, straight up the Devil's Highway (due east on the map) and you're at the green gate at the start of Seagull in 5 minutes.
Arrow on the map for the car park just off the B3348

Blue 1 then don't turn right onto blue 2 but follow the fire road up the hill, straight on over the cross roads and you'll end up at the lower star post, and you can get the first loop of the red from there. But skip red 2 as mentioned above.
Thanks guys will give these a try
When I'm short of time, follow the Blue, skip stickler (or not depends if you like it), head straight down the fire road to seagull (skip the bog and the other bit), then do the rest of red and blue.
TBH though, if you put the hammer down you'd ride the first half of the blue quicker than you could get lost on the fire road.
I park in Bagshot (College Ride) where the road ends. Short 5 minute pedal past the big radio mast and you're at the top of the Labyrinth area.
