Anyone been up to, or got local knowledge of Swinley's conditions? Given all the rain we've had.
Hear there is an enduro event up there this weekend - so I guess its a swamp???
Thinking of riding there tomorrow. (Monday)
Was up there yesterday, it was ok, understandably wet and slipery but still fun. Very busy tho so I would get there early tomorrow.
Was alright on Tuesday but after Gorrick some bits will be pretty horrendous.
Just home from the Gorrick - it's surprisingly dry! Barely saw a puddle and only a few muddy sections in a ten mile lap. It was riding really well......
Was fine today for the race, they avoided all the worst bits, and seagull run/stickler/labyrinth were all running really nicely. There were a couple of boggy bits, but to be honest they didn't really deteriorate through the race and they were off the beaten track.
Be fine tomorrow.
No worries. Cheers guys..
Any info on named trail sections would be good - start points? havent been to Swinley before.

I don't really know it well enough to direct, but it's a big area, you could easily ride for hours and miss all the good stuff! You could probably do worse than look for the tyre tracks from the race and follow those, gets you 10 miles with some of the good bits!
There is a map on this thread that ive found really good....Link
And now ygm....
Swinley done today.. Get there for 9am. not very busy.
Weather held out (almost) had some rain. But still managed to have enough grip for some giggles.
Must say, compared to some other trail centres I've visited - everyone was nice n friendly. Said Hi when you did! etc etc..
Some good flowy single track (if you know where to find it!!) We managed to stumble on quite a bit of it.
