I might pop in for a lap tomorrow evening.

Does the car park stay open after dark? Will I return to find my van full of doggers?

It's all waymarked now, yeah? I've not been for years and wouldn't know my way around.

🙂

if you get there before the car park shuts your ok, they have automatic exit barriers

No doggers

Trails are way marked - but theres still plenty of off piste stuff - if you want a break from the unrelenting cobblestones...

I'm on a 29er, the cobblestones will need a break from me.

😉

Says online car park should be open to 8.30pm, which should allow plenty of time - ta.

I regularly end up leaving after the closing time night riding in winter, never been a problem. Automatic barriers just let you out. £2 charge for 4 hours parking at the moment.

Isnt it a bit dodgy with potential breakins after dark? I dont go to swinley anymore, but used to park in the swimming pool opposite if thats still there?

Haven't been for a while, but there's usually folk about until fairly late.

Swimming pool is being done up until next year.

AND they got rid of the roundabout at the main road.

It does happen from time to time, especially on dark evenings.

As above, as long as you get in before the car park closes, you can always get out as there is a automatic barrier.

I like the place and often have a spin round in the evenings, some evenings it can be surprisingly busy.

I've heard of this on occasion. Have to admit it has never crossed my mind or bothered me enough to stop me parking there.

There's usually a surprising number of people even in the depths of a shite winters eve.

You could always park in either Bracknell and ride over the road, or at Muzzys kebab van, or in the Crowthorne car park by the substation/dive crew, never had a problem at either.

Bracknell is obviously safety in numbers, Muzzys is open till late and the dive crew car park is usualy busy with dog walkers untill it gets dark.

Plenty of thefts during the day. Probably more so. Hot spot for it.

Loads of other places to park though, either at any of the access points from Bracknell side, Crowthorne, down by Camberley etc (not blocking fire entrances) or nearby car parks and parks, and just ride in.

Thanks for alternative suggestions, I'm probably meeting someone there so easier to stick to the main car park I think.

Anyone fancy joining?
