Anyone tried them?

Got some Gore's that have been good but now falling apart.

The sweets look like they might be a bit tougher and not crazy money.

Got one pair, so impressed bought another before the winter! Regular use in Scottish grit and mud plus washing and still look and working well. Love them.

They look a well designed sturdy short, but unless they're well discounted elsewhere, I'm struggling to see why you'd not buy Altura Attack 3/4's (long lasting & definitely waterproof) for half the price instead

Then we should all be riding around on boardmans and carrera's.

Any other useful views?

Sweet make great gear. I have a set of hunter shorts for normal rides and a set of the new mud ones when its nasty out. Both work really well.

If you are a size small - http://amzn.to/1JCOHkA

Saw those but that's plus €10 shipping and I was hoping for the black ones rather than Nduro blu...

The seat is made of very robust material which is different to the main short so lasts far longer in the contact area than cheaper shorts. The vents work really well. You get what you pay for when it comes to clothing imo.
Try Leisure Lakes, Stif or the Sweet online shop.

I'm a 32" waist and fit a medium but need to crank the waist adjusters in.

Got these last week and the quality and design is outstanding, I'm a 34' and went with Large .. a tad too big but I'm aiming off for being festively plump over the winter 😐

well, my gores failed spectacularly yesterday, a small split on a seam turned into a massive split in the space of a couple of corners.

pressed the button on some of the sweets from exxpozed in germany. £92 all in. hope they are as good as they look...

I bought some after reading this thread.
One unbelievably wet trip to bike park wales and a lot of dampness at CyB on weds has shown me they are very very good shorts.
A bit warm but def waterproof

it was them or the new race face agent shorts but I didn't like the "ventilation panel" on the rear of the race face shorts.

just looked like somewhere to let water in. My gore had a handy pocket in the same place with a unsealed zip...
