Just about to fit my new hope tech brakes but already have braided hose on the bike with my old m4 brakes I know I can just fit levers and calipers to the old already fitted hose but when fitting to the caliper end should I just remove the bolt at the end of the hose and fit the old one or should I actually remove the hose at the fitting if you get what I mean. The lever end is easy

Also they probably will need a bleed so anyone know what fluid they have in from the factory 4 or 5.1 and is one any better than the other for any reason thanks

5.1 fluid from factory. I use Lockheed fluid, it's what my LBS stocks and uses. If the hoses are the right length you should be able to just bolt it on. I'd use the new bolt/washers when fitting the hose to the caliper.
There's a useful 'bleeding' video on the Hope website.
