I seem to remember from a post on here that there is a company that will press a tapered steerer out of a modern fork and put a straight one in but I cannot find it. anyone able to help?
its for someone who wants to fit a more modern fork to a tandem ( not me) They need a 26" straight 1 1/8 steerer fork
thanks

If it's a steel frame, would it not make sense to price out what a new headtube would cost? That would future-proof the frame.

You can get it done in Stirling as well if you want it done in Scotland.
