Looking at buying a boardman cyclocross bike that comes with a SRAM FC-350, 1x11, 44T chainset would it be possible to replace with a 1x11 xt without changing anything else?

Probably have to change the BB but that usually comes with shimano csets anyway. Other than that, good to go.

The frame will be designed around a road chainset so no guarantee you'll be able to get decent chainline. You'll also need a new bb.
