Spending a few days here soon & will take the bikes for a jaunt round the purbeck hills but I'm keen to know what the local unmissable trails are...

Puddletown woods is pretty good for some sketch handmade trails, some rather large gaps if your not paying attention. There are some nice xc loops along the ridge to hardys monument to the west, and along the top of white horse hill to the east. From Sutton poyntz you can get to the purbecks pretty much all off road. I sometime go to lulworth along the coast, then inland across Morton forest to puddletown and back.

If you only have 1 full day, spend it in the purbecks.

Awesome, thank you.

I've got a few days so I'll try those.

A lap of Portland is pretty good. Also search dorset dirty dabbler on strava, good all year trails, of dorset dirt, probably slow going and chalky this time of year.

Have fun.
