Hi,
I have just done a lower service on Rochshox Rev RL as per usually instructions. I have had the forks a few months now and this was its first lower service. After serving them it feels like they need more air in them than before the service. At the old psi setting the sag is well off and just riding outside the house they feel too low.

Is this usual?

Thanks

A lower leg service shouldn't really make much difference to how they feel, it really just cleans out the lowers of crap and immulsified oil, the air and everything mechanical is in the uppers, you may have let some air out bybaccident when removing the uppers,

OK thanks. One reinflated shouldn't they go back to where they where? Or where do I pit the lost air.

Sure the reading was right when you checked before you let the pressure out?

My solo air sektors were pretty much the same after a lower leg service.

I have always ran them at 70 psi after the initial setup and now they feel a lot plusher and smoother but need more psi (80-90 just around the road) to stop going through the travel.

It's one of those things, that I have nagging thought they are not right now.

How heavy are you and what sag are you getting standing up?

Just finished doing the whole thing again from scratch with the same end result. I suppose the simple answer could be they came with too little oil in the lowers from factory and now its the correct level they need more psi for the same result. or could be I am talking cr@p

@fr0sty125 68kg, I haven't measured the sag tonight but it was a signicfacant way up at 70psi. Will do it the am.

Thanks
