I’ve got a Fox Factory DPX2 and Factory 36 fork with about 100hrs on them so needing a fettle.  The shock is also cavitating badly, so hopefully that’ll be fixed at the same time.

Where are we using these days for good quality advice and work?  No massively quick turn around required but within a couple of weeks would be nice.

I don't use anyone else other than Rick at Slick & Slide these days (pretty much all my ridding buddies use him too)

Local to me, 100% knows his stuff, Top bloke who is passionate about his work

Based in Macclesfield, if you can drop in I'm sure he'll have a chat

J-tech's been my go to for years. Always top service and have done it on the booked day. Had a few custom tunes each of which made a noticeable difference to the issue I had each time.

I've generally used J-Tech, but sent my Fox 38's & X2 to Silverfish.

Took a bit longer but basically got a new shock back after warranty replacement of several parts.

Another very pleased Slick ‘n’ Slide customer here. Once you’ve found the workshop the first time going back is easy. Easier to find now than where it used to be.

Easy booking. Drop off, go for a short walk, return and pick up.

TF Tuned. Tried others, keep going back as they are consistently very good.

Rick sent me a spare suspension valve cover after a plea on here to find out where I could buy a replacement, so gets my vote, (and business next time it's needed).

Having said that, I've been pleased with TF Tuned previously.

I've used Sprung, Jtech and Slick and Slide and been totally happy with all. Jtech definitely impressed with their tuning/modifying on my 36s, Sprung likewise absolutely killed it with options for my CCDB. Slick and Slide I just got a standard service from and tbh they kinda felt like a standard service sort of place, but that might not be fair. But all spot on.

TF I've used twice and tbh wasn't happy either time, the work was good but they didn't actually listen to what I wanted, they did exactly what they thought I should want. Which considering one of them was a diy coil converted fork, is a bit of a bloody cheek.

TF Tuned or J-Tech, I 'prefer' to use J-Tech purely as he's local and I want to support him, but if he's booked up, I'm more than happy to use TF Tuned. Never had a issue with TF Tuned, very professional, always call you to discuss the service & found the techs (not salesmen) more than happy to advise, when your looking to buy stuff.

I used to use TF Tuned, but now use Plush as they know their stuff and are close enough for me to drop off.

Plush are near Bedford/Chicksands Bike Park.

Another happy J-Tech customer here. Their custom tunes have been especially good - my Lyrik in particular feels like a very different fork to the one that left the factory.

I use Rick at Slick & Slide if it's just service work, he's a top bloke and really good at what he does. And J-Tech if I want something tuning, they're very good at what they do.

Nah, I never remember where he is 😀

Perhaps that shows I need to be getting my stuff serviced more often.

Can’t believe no one is mentioning silverfish?

Had a dhx2 coil repaired after it bent a shaft and it was all very reasobnable, painless to arrange and quick.

I did!

If it's the first service I'd send Fox stuff either to Fox or Silverfish - there's no issues then with getting any parts replaced FOC under warranty - the bent shaft seem to be an issue as both mine and my mates have them replaced.

I did use TFTuned, I now use Slick and Slide because they're closer and I don't have to pay postage.

Very happy with both. Both happy to chat about problems and offer solutions, even on items they've not serviced.
