Does anyone do full suspension fork/shock servicing in or aroind Glasgow? Have a Zeb and super deluxe that needs 200 hr service including a damper rebuild.

I often do the 50hr lowers/air can service myself, can I do the damper service myself or is it too difficult?

I know most people send their suspension to TF tuned/Jtech for servicing but not sure if I can be bothered with the stress/cost of trying to post suspension parts.

Given the popularity of mountain biking in Scotland, you'd think there'd be a shop up here who specialises in suspension but can't find any?

Not Glasgow, but https://www.freshsuspension.co.uk/suspension-servicing/ in Troon is probably the closest for full servicing. Most of the shops will send elsewhere.

Greenrig Cycles outside Falkirk are very good for suspension servicing - might be slightly closer than Troon, depending on which side of Glasgow you are at.

Inners but I'm sure you could tie it in with a ride or something.

Aidy ex Swarf Cycles is the tech guy there and really knows his stuff.
He also does one to one setup days for anyone that's struggling to get the best out of their setup.

Might be worth giving Sprockets near Kilmarnock a shout. They used to do suspension servicing.

Pretty sure Chris that runs Fresh works there or did at any rate, I'd rather pay him direct than Sprockets ridiculous rates.

Their prices aren't worse than other bike servicing places nearby

https://www.sprocketscycles.com/pages/workshop

They're cheaper for some stuff, and slightly more expensive for other bits, but they don't look massively out of sync with the market

Sprockets dont mention anything other than aircan and lowers servicing, so not really in the running

TBH - the collection service that TF Tuned offer removes a fair chunk of the stress in my experience.

Very much this. They picked up my shock on Monday, I'll get it back next week. I haven't had to do anything around the shipping, all handled by TF Tuned. Just box the shock up and put the delivery address on the outside and a copy of the job booking form inside. Courier man puts the tracking stuff on it when he collects it.

Never had anything but great service from Dougie in Dales in Glasgow
If needing big work Bike and Spanner in Edinburgh we’re awesome
Done my X2 and we’re a good bit cheaper than most other places and didn’t have daft waiting times and communication was great
I’ve seen primed bikes on Insta doing some big work on shocks and forks too and the convenience of him picking up and dropping off is a big seller

Primed Bikes seems to be doing a lot of suspension work if you check out his Instagram @primedbikes. Website is primedbikes.com. Never used him for suspension but he's been great for other stuff.

Cheers all for the suggestions, some places I've never heard of in there, and I've been riding mtb for 15 years!

Will have a look around and see who's cheapest/has best availability.

@chainbreaker I know you were looking for somewhere local. I wanted to go local too but the easiest & cheapest solution was TF Tuned. Courier pick up from the door & delivered back the same way.

Just had a look, seems they've had a reality check, IIRC they were charging 20-25 quid per end for brake bleeding at one point!
