As above.

Looking for one of the above with a zero loss valve.

Doesn't have to be super high pressure as 275psi is about the limit of anything I have.

I have three of the RS pumps that you used to get with forks - remember those days - and frustratingly they all give slightly different readings and don't have zero loss valves making using them accurately doubly frustrating!

All suggestions welcome especially ones to avoid!

I've had a Topeak Pocket Shock DXG since 2013, absolutely flawless. Much better valve than the Rock Shox ones. I would heartily recommend. In fact, it's been so good that I recently bought a second one in the Wiggle sale (£30) in case it ever gets lost or stolen.

It's argued (and proven using a Shockwiz) that they drop next to nothing anyway. Mine shows 1-2psi from 220 when removed. No more than that.

Lifeline digital for me

Spend enough money and you'll still get one 🙂

I have a branded EXT one, looks identical to my branded RS one!

Like any pump I put in the recommended amount then tweak to suit my requirements and just stick with the one pump.  Can't say that I've noticed significant loss when using any shock pump, but then I've always stuck in an extra stroke for good luck

Lifeline digital for me too. Modern shocks and forks are very pressure sensitive, and having a digital read out helps set them up correctly.

Another Lifeline Digital fan here. It's the same as the Fox/RS/whatever ones, just with a slightly different chuck and a lot less money

Just bought the lifeline digital to replace the ubiquitous analogue one everyone has that used to come free with forks years ago.

Much better because:

- Analogue gauge that reads to 0-400+ psi is pointless (see also, uing a road bike track pump to bring your 2.5" tubeless front wheel on your MTB from 18 or 19 psi).
- Digitial readout is far more repeatable
- Bleed button doesnt release 50psi at a time.

On offer at CRC the other week, might still be.

It looks literally identical to the Fox one which is £100. I wasn't looking but I might buy one myself!

I have a Lezyne one. When I unscrew it the air stays in there. Aren’t most shock pumps zero loss and the little hiss is the air in the pump escaping? I thought the air loss you notice when you reattach the pump was lost through putting the pump on, not taking it off. Isn’t that what the valve in the shock/tyre is for?

I have a RS one knocking about somewhere but can’t find it. I also have an old Marzocchi one that is really low pressure.

Just got a lifeline digital to replace a beto one with a two stage chuck. The two stage chuck is annoying and since buying it have come across several articles that prove there is no loss disconnecting a normal chuck anyway.

Yes. Common misunderstanding. The valve closes before the hose is fully unthreaded so the hiss you hear is air escaping from the hose.

When you screw it back on to check the pressure goes down because you're filling the hose.

As far as I could tell, all the digital ones are basically the same pump, just with different branding.
