Hi,

I'm planning a long ride and some of it involves getting from the top Pitch Hill carpark (nr windmill) down to Walking Bottom CP. Recommendations for a set of trails which can be easily linked up ? Not after monster-gnarr or lots of looping back around etc as this is one section of an "epic" route I'm planning.

I can use Strava to find the route names if anyone can call a sequence out.

Thanks!

Captain clunk, up to proper bo (right fork at the end to do a short uphill) and then roll down the fireroad to graveyard rollercoaster should sort you out. Bit of climbing out of clunk but worth it in my view.

I would say the start of Captain Clunk, until the point when it turns right and points down the hill as it just loses lots of gradient now for no real benefit now the jumps have gone.

Turn left & follow the logging tracks up to Mickey Rourke on the right.

Down that, out to the carpark, up Ride Way road, down Mike TV to the bottom.

Climb up to the other side, then into Fork Right, left at the end, into Graveyard rollercoaster, John the Baptist & take the left before the holly down into the WB carpark.

Hobnob - do you mean left at the end where clunk used to have the first of the three drops? Or earlier?

Not familiar with mikckey Rourke (did it used to have a double before the steeper section?) and it's not on Strava explore. Nor is Mike tv and I can't think which one that would be nor can I link it to fork right!

Yep, around that area - I can only remember a couple though? There was a couple of small tables & it turned just after the second, normally pop off the side on the left there & spin back up the hill.

Micky Rourke is on the right up there - yes it's the one with the small double just before it gets a bit steeper 🙂

Mike TV runs parallel to Ride Way, start is on the junction of Lawbrook Lane. Brings you out near the bridleway crossroads near the end of Clunk. Usually spin up past the start of Curly Wurly (could do the off camber one on the left up there - with the double in the start) too! & up to the crossroads.

Woah! I've not ridden Pitch in years 🙂 I can see Clunk/Bo/Graveyard on Strava segment explore, perhaps that's the best route !
