Ibis bikes use novatech hubs on their complete builds, if Scot Nicol considers them good enough to spec on his bikes then thats pretty decent praise indeed.

Novatec are very good , my surly used to eat bearings as they were very exposed on a muddy ss , not sure if they have changed tho

So Novatec is the answer... even their track hubs are sealed well for muddy single speed cyclocross racing?!

Can't really go wrong with novatecs, the surly in the link don't look to have changed that much since mine

Is Goldtec sealed better than Novatec?

What about just re-spacing an older screw-on hub? (I have a Campagnolo Chorus.)
