My Orge is used for commuting, around town and tagalong pulling. It's currently set up with some £12 Truvativ flat bars (600mm).

I was wondering whether something like a Jones H-Bar, Surly Open or On-One Mary would be worth a go?

I had Marys on my cargo bike for ages. There's definitely something to be said for them, if you get on with them alright. Worth an experiment.

Handsome bike by the way, like it 🙂

When I first built my Ogre (for commuting and general utility) I had a Jones loop bar but gave up on it and went back to a normal flat bar. Nothing you could put your finger on, it just didn't feel quite right.

Are handlebars bike-specific now? 😉

I like, and get on with, Mary bars. I also have some On-One OG Bars, which are a bit wider and slightly less odd-looking.

Upside-down Mary bars are nice on road.
