are the supreme hypebeasts interested in a mtb that has supreme written on it.
clearly i'm too old and not enough street for it all..

glad i'm not in london or i'll be getting mugged for my chameleon, so they can paint it red and put a big font supreme on it..

are collaborations the future for MTB'ing

There's nothing new about non-bike brands making a bike and charging over the odds for it.

See:
Muji bike from a while back (looked OK, pants bike for the money though)
Porsche bike (er, looks like a parts bin special - from an admittedly quite nice parts bin)
Land Rover bike. (LOL. Just don't)

I guess at least this is a decent enough bike.

Supreme are pretty famous for making something 'valuable' by sticking their name on it

about a grand on eBay now

That's about £1,000 to buy after selling out quickly.

Clothing is just a world of madness in itself.

My lads costly jacket he just got from Superdry is British company pretending to be Japanese than makes its clothing in Turky**.

Or Vietnam, Cambodia etc etc.

That’s the thing, this isn’t that. This is a SC chameleon with a custom (ish) paint job. At least your examples were made by/for the brands...

I think Paul Smith does stuff like this all the time. Takes a stock product like a bike and paints it in stripes to double its value. Crackers.

Paul Smith did a cracking limited edition range with Mercian a few years back, can't remember what the price difference was but some of the paintjobs were really nice

I hope anyone buying those Chameleons for the resale factor ends up with an expensive coathook they can't ride, or sell - there's gonna be a markup over the stock price of one anyway - is there a market for an £6k bike that's worth £2k with a different logo?

WTF!

This has cheapened the perceived qudos of my Chameleon now. They have sold out. I don’t even know what Supreme is. 😳

Good job I’ve ordered one of those new RC 627s

Mehhh, and how many "Sam hill" 5.10 impacts do you see in a trail center car park? Middle aged tubby blokes are not immune from a "colab" it would seem.

Googled that one though and found these

shoes

WANT!
