Specifically the Switch. How do they compare to Hope?
Longevity etc? Not once have I touched my Hope rear in 2yrs. The rim is utterly shagged though.
Should I clean the hub and a new rim or buy a SS wheel(s)

I had to change the bearings, front and rear (apart from in the freehub), in my Switch hubs within about 6 months. Easy enough though; same as Hopes. The Teslas are supposed to have better bearings.

I love my switch evo's , had them about two yrs now on superstar am490 rims , rear bearings were done about 8 months ago and only just doe the front ones . Definatly recommend them but that's only my personal experience .
