Trying to convert a superstar rear wheel with Switch Ultra hub back to good old fashioined 135mm QR standards without spending a fortune! My understanding is that this is a rebranded Novatec D882 hub.

Having read this thread:
https://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/are-these-rear-axles-the-same-thing/

...I ordered the Prime RD010 conversion kit which @medoramas had success with. It looked promising, the axle seems to fit fine, but the left hand end cap is about 5mm too long so I end up with a 140mm axle. Having spent a bit of time googling the subject, I read that the Prime end caps are different for centrelock and 6-bolt hubs. Looking at the part number that I have been sent, I think it may be for a Prime RD010 Centrelock hub (part number has a suspicious 'CK' within it which sounds a lot like CentrelocK to me...). Wiggle don't have separate parts listed however, so I think I'm out of luck with them.

So, does anyone happen to have a Switch Ultra 135mm QR kit kicking around their spares box that I can exchange beer tokens for?

It should look like this (colours may vary!)

I have an unused RD010 135mm Conversion Kit QR and when I measure over the 'flats' it is 135mm.
Endcap is different to the one you show by not have an o-ring seal (guessing it was for a road wheelset). What is the length of you endcap for comparison. If this fits you are welcome to the parts.

Hi @vmgscot, thanks for getting back to me 🙂

The parts I got from Wiggle measure 135 'on the workbench', however the endcap is obviously designed for a hub which has the LH bearing more recessed inside the hub shell (I guess due to the centrelock setup), as when I try to fit it, it bottoms out on the outer LH bearing before it should, so I end up with 140mm across the flats (and not all that much of the threaded cap actually engaged on the axle.

My LH cap actually looks longer than the pics on the Wiggle site, so I do wonder if there is a chance your kit may me different. For comparison, the width of the cap is 20mm, I'm guessing I need one that is more like 15mm.

(The thread I linked to acknowledged the lack of O-ring, I was OK with that)

Long cap

This is the pic from Wiggle:

Bizarrely I have just had exactly the same issue. The correct axle has a 'cap' width of 15mm as you've realised. I came to the same conclusion - i.e. Wiggle have sent the centerlock version rather than the version in their picture.

Unfortunately I can't help you any more though - my problem was that I had the right axle elsewhere, so £7.50 to Wiggle to get another seemed to be an easy fix. Ultimately I had to wait a bit to recover the axle that I already had.
