I've bought a cheap old frame that I may well want to Slacken the HA off on at some point in the coming months, I see superstar's 'Slackerizer' appears to be about the cheapest (if the size you want is in stock) are they any good, should I pay a bit more for a works components job, or are there any others I should consider?

The head tube should be 44mm top/56mm bottom/110mm long (TBC on arrival), and I'll using a tapered steerer fork...

Suggestions?

I've had one in my Saracen for a while now with zero issues.

I put it in May 16, no creaks or other weirdness.

Yep, including the size I'm likely to need, but I'm in no rush so if SS restock in the next couple of months that'll do me. Otherwise I'll get a works one.
Either way the headset will be worth more than the frame...

Cheers all...

I've got a works one fitted, no creaks so far . Its worth keeping an eye on their website , they seem to have random sales .
