I have been riding a pair of these for the past 20 months. Recently discovered play in the non-driveside pedal where the pedal axle meets the pedal body.

I've taken the end cap off and tried tightening the bolt that holds the axle to the body but I found that it can't be tightened any more than it already is.
So then I tried to push the axle a bit into the body, which worked, until I screwed the end cap back in which pushed the axle back out, resulting in the play still being there.

I've even tried pushing the axle back in and tried to tighten the bolt a few turns but it won't go any further...

It's as if the axle has grown, but obviously this is impossible.
Am I missing something?

I've contacted Superstar via their online form but got an email back saying the message couldn't be delivered...hmmm?

Any help/advice greatly appreciated!

You need to change the bushing inside and possibly the bearings, there is a service guide somewhere (most likely on the Superstar website..)

Just needs a basic service and a new bush. Service kits online and watch the video on YouTube it’s simple to do

I had exactly the same issue, the Nano-X now uses a Igus Polymer Bushing instead of a PTFE metal bush.

This seems to wear out sooner than the metal one.I replace the plastic bush with one of these Item: 273617588544.

Lasted a lot longer but eventually wore the spindles.

A set of new spindles are only a tenner so no big deal.
