Do they work? (as in are the tollerances good, cos the wisecracker spacer I got from SSUK allows my top headset cut to move too much)

Not used any, but based on past use of Lexan products, it seems quite flexible, so I could easily see it distorting under load. Another potential problem is polycarbonates can tend to to lose that flexibilty (due to plasticiser migration) if they're exposed to oils/greases/solvents etc., sometimes cracking, sometimes virtually shattering under impact.I'd probably not bother, but it's your money, and your choice.
