Hi Chaps,

Are the Superstar Narrow Wide rings threaded, or do you need short bolts?

The photos have both....

Cheers

Ricks

I didn't get shorter bolts either, just ground the ones I had down quite a bit (wear gloves or use molgrips)

Yep, was just confused as the photo shows both. Threaded is a much better solution, I've got short bolts that I've got on my Hope retainer.

Think only the 30t is threaded.

Only 30t is threaded, as it need to be offset from the crank slightly, as it's too small to bolt on without the tabs fouling the chain otherwise.

What honorablegeorge says

My 30t was threaded. 32 t wasnt

I had some fat washers for the 32 and used standard bolts

I'll +5 that 30t is threaded 🙂

Also I needed some washers to space it out to stop it fouling on the crank (xtr 970)

I have it on good authority that the 30 is threaded.
