As above, not wanting to spend millions on them but want decent/ ish ones.

Anybody replaced theirs or should I take them to the LBS?

Thanks

I've got hope bearings in mine, £4 a pop from wiggle on offer. I'd steer clear of cheapo bearings.
LBS did mine, I couldn't get the old ones out!

Interested in this too, front bearings for a switch hub. Which bearings did you buy?

front bearings are 6804 in the switch. I have a pdf somewhere of all the different hub bearing numbers.

easy enough to replace just make sure you dont pinch the bearings too tight on the central spacer as it will affect smoothness and bearing life.

if its a rear and your doing the freehub, i found it best to use a vice rather than a hammer, as they are prone to cracking.

i made the error of getting cheapo "5 bearings for £5" ebay jobsworth, but lasted 2 days in scotland! got SKF and were much better
