Mrs Mugsy is currently 1st in the female solos cat at the Luberon 24 heures VTT in S France. Her first solo 24hrs. I am just so proud of her. I'm Pit Bitching aided by Mini and Micro Mugsy. Currently chilling with a beer.

Started at 2pm. We are 1 hour ahead. Disappointing lack of bling or niche. No 29 ers. No single speeds. No rohloffs, no alfines, not seen Amy steel or ti apart from her howler Pastry ti.

Just pitted for 1/2 hour. The Pastry starting to show signs of distress. But the nearest competition is at least 3 laps of a 7km circuit behind. 😀

No mercy .
No prisoners ,
Grind them all into the dirt like the dogs that they are .
Eat my dust you loosers .
No surrender .
Pedal to the very end .

Your misses sounds nuts and ace at the same time.
Best have a nice cup of tea ready and some biscuits .
Reckon she deserves a massage later, and some anti inflamatorys.

Mrs Mugsy here. the race was awesome. I did 30 laps and won by a long shot (2nd did 18 laps)<
the course was technical relentless singletrack. very fun and demanding. but as least i wasn't bored and some sections made me go 'yeah' 30 times!

I had a set of Gloworm by Danny from here which he lent me to test. Brilliant lights which allowed me to race through the night safe and without getting too tired.

I slept for 10 mins so i'm slightly tired now.
Goodnight and thank you for your encouragements which husband passed on. I particularly like Singletrackmind comment which is well suited to my way of thinking!

You must be delighted. That is a frankly astonishing performance (even more so for a first ever solo 24hr).

I can't even imagine riding 210km in 24 hours off road!
