I have a Super Deluxe Air RCT shock on my new frame.
Its been equalised propery.
When compressing the shock, around 15 or 20mm into the travel on the shaft, its meets a sudden bit of resistance. A bit more pressure and it breaks past this resistance. As it gets to this bit of resistance theres and audible 'psssst' noise.
I'm wondering if anyone else with the shock has the same experience? Is this normal?
It happens before the sag point and the shock feels fine while riding. But just want to sure its not an issue that will cause problems if I keep riding it.
Any input appreciated
