I saw quite a few of these in the Alps this summer, people I asked seemed happy with them... Has anyone tried one, are they reliable?

Dunno, but their low/mid range forks seem to be OK:

I am actually more interested in these sort of forks now that prices have gone silly high.

after seeing the prices of forks im sorely tempted to buy a lathe and just build dampers and buy cheep but functional fork chasis'. Cheep fork + mini lathe and a book on dampers = expensive fork, it works for PUsh so why not?

Yes massive hike in forks prices has set me thinking, from what little I can glean the forks work well its just the reliability that's unknown. Might be worth a punt.
