Looking for something for the face that is good for sensitive, eczema prone skin that doesn't block pores.

What are people using?

We've just bought Childs Farm stuff for our daughter. She has inherited my eczema and this seems to be the only stuff which works well for her.

This mousse is superb https://www.evy.uk.com/#products

not cheap, and has been through various rebrands in the past, but it's excellent stuff

I have always found that as soon as I apply any type of sunscreen my internal body temperature sky-rockets so watching this with interest. I have found ASDA's own brand factor 15 stuff is about the best compromise of protection/over-heating issues for me.

my internal body temperature sky-rockets

in that case!

During use hydrophilic centres also appear in the lipophilic regions in such a way that normal sweating has basically no effect and, through the osmotic membrane, the skin’s natural ability to maintain an even balance between outflows and inflows (of e.g. moisture and heat) is restored

if you can believe it of course...

Thanks guys, this is great.

Was expecting a load of "just use Aldi's", so pleasantly surprised ;o)

petec - we used to use Proderm for the kids, think that was one of the previous Evy brands. Will take a look.

@john_l
yeah, it was Proderm back in the day. Same stuff, different name. Brilliant stuff

having said that, as the kids have got older, the Aldi stuff is now fine!

MrsIHN has to be careful with this kind of stuff, cos of eczema, and we always use Piz Buin.

I have eczema type issues and also a UV intolerance. The Wilko’s factor 50 kids one is great for me when it is available, and I stock up accordingly. It’s 5* UVA also.

As with most skin creams it’s hit and miss for each person.

Isn't it just! Bloody minefield.

For the face we use this stuff:

Expensive but a little goes a long way and lasts well.

We use Nivia Baby 50+ (definitely can't use their standard stuff!)

Don't know about pores but if applied an hour before mtbing I can sweat and not get burnt.

Who knew there were so many sensitive blokes around ;o)

Thanks for all the recommendations. Going to give the Evy a try.
