I need to replace the front bearings on one of these. Not sure if it's MK1 or Mk2, but they look like sealed cartridge bearings. Can anyone tell me what size replacements to get, from where?

Also how does one get the old ones out? Bash axle out with rubber mallet then attack with screwdriver?

I have the cup and cone MK1, so I can't really help. Looks like you will need to remove the bearings first in order to measure them.

l.e. Or you can just buy them on ebay: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Sun-Ringle-Wheel-Hub-Bearing-Kits-Radium-Jumping-Flea-Disc-Jockey-Abbah-etc-/151254370547?var=&hash=item23377688f3

Thanks for the ebay link - handy!

The stw thread is about freehub not axle removal. Can anyone enlighten me as to whether it's alright to attack the axle with a rubber mallet?
