First off I'm sorry for cursing the summer by mentioning dust, but I seem to be suffering more and more lately and after stopping twice this morning maybe it's time to do something about my sunnies.

I wear contacts and have sensitive eyes so dusty trails either mean I'm stopping to wait for my eyes to clear and stop watering or just going on with blind (sorry) faith that the blurry trail in front of me doesn't have any lurking death traps. Add to that the fact that ad I get older they also seem to water in cold weather and I'm spending half my rides with poor vision.

So any suggestions, preferably photochromic and also sweat friendly because I also run hot so eye cups etc aren't going to work. (and no, I'm not going to be wearing goggles on regular trail rides.)

If its just on descents that you're having issues then goggles are your friend. If its everywhere else as well then big wraparounds like 100% Speedcraft (or similar looking Madisons) should give the most protection.

I too would say pick up some goggles, I also run hot and find sun glasses to be very goldilocks, it cant be too cold or too hot or it cant be too wet or too dry. Goggles are good for too cold, too hot and too dusty, not so great for very very wet.

Sure it's not hay fever? I've become more prone to it as I get older(I also am sensitive to light too, and with family history of macular degeneration I always wear shades)
