Time to replace my TLD Air full finger gloves. Any other gloves I should check out before I just buy another pair of the same?

Full finger, lightweight and breathable

As another TLD gloves fan, I like 661 Raji's too in the summer.

I quite like the 100% Cognitos I bought for summer use.

Every pair of endura gloves I’ve bought in the last few years has disintegrated within a few rides so I refuse to buy their gloves now.

100% gloves seem to be holding together ok for me in general - the Briskers I’ve had a few years for Autumn / Winter use have done well too.

What features are you looking for?

I've got a pair of Dakine gloves that are nice to wear when it warms up but they won’t offer much protection in the event of an unscheduled dismount in rocky terrain. There's no palm padding either if that’s important to you.

Slightly contrary to the above, I got some Endura Singletrack's the other week and really like them. Whether they last, remains to be seen though

TLD XC here. Used to be Fox Ranger, but last pair I had fell apart in weeks.

TLD Ace are my fave summer gloves, but all light gloves go through at the fingers pretty swiftly IME.

Not super-light, but try Giro DND. Don't bother with the cheaper/ lighter Trixter model, the palm material is rubbish.

I've worn roy Lee XC's for years and really like them, I bought another pair in that ^^ Merlin sale.

Galibier'd gloves are very light if you can get on with the colour: https://www.galibier.cc/product/contact-full-finger-glove/

The Endura singletracks are fine for a week and then the the wrist closure velcro just gives up and stops sticking.

Managed to get a pair of my old go to raji’s from wiggle for £8 in the slightly less offensive green. https://www.wiggle.co.uk/sixsixone-raji-glove-1 They now have velcro which i would prefer them not to but for the price I’ll live with that.
These ones are more like the rajis of old and are a bargain if they have your size (and you can handle the daft writing on the knuckles!) https://www.wiggle.co.uk/sixsixone-comp-cycling-gloves

I had a £25 Tredz voucher to use... bought a pair of these:
O'Neil Mayhem gloves

They fit really well and are as light as anything. Not been out in them properly yet so can't tell how well they'll last, but I've put them on and off a few times as they feel so nice ... maybe I shouldn't admit that 😉

Contrary to the comments above I have had a pair of Endura Singletracks for a couple of years and they are still going strong.

Endura fingerless here, lasted a year but coming apart at the seams already. Poor durability compared to others I've used.

Speaking of Endura, moths have eaten my nearly new merino baselayer.

I bought a pair of the Troy Lee Airs a few weeks back but returned them, looked like the summer brambles round here would wreck them in no time.

Not too bothered by super lightweight, recommendations for gloves that will last for a bit? Will have a look at the Giro DND

Decathlon full fingers, mid range. Tough as old boots.... They just work, and I commute in them...

I didn't normally wear full length gloves because it's too hot most of the year where i live. But I got some Fist Breezer gloves and I think they're as good as I'll find. They also have enough adjustment that they don't pinch my right wrist which is another problem i have with gloves (weird as i'm left handed)

100% Sling gloves are my summer glove, super light weight material and really breathable. The palm material is slimmed down too which I find good for easing palm sweat.

Cheers for all the help so far guys. The 661 Raji look great for £8 but I can’t live with the available colours. Looks like Giro DND can be had for £13.50+postage so I may give them a try, cheers

I love 100% gloves and have several pairs that have lasted really well… I’ve also got quite a few other gloves, but none really fit for hard summer duty.

The 100% sling glove I thought was absolutely perfect for summer use, the only downside is that they disintegrated after six weeks. Are there any gloves like the sling but last? Kind of moon on a stick I suppose 🙂

Proper lightweight summer gloves will not last IMO. But that's because they're lightweight and get a fair bit of abuse.

I've got (and have patched up a far few times) Endura, Giro and Royal Racing. All decent but wouldn't pay full price for any of them.

These are nice

I'm not a fan of Velcro closers and like a snot wipe. The Giro tick both boxes.
