I'm tinkering with SPD Hafter a decade away. I've got myself a set of Lake off road disco slippers. Still a lot of spray around at the moment. What I'd like is a splashproof, breathable, non baggy overshoe for use in warmer weather.
Are the gripgrab or velotoze any good?
I've got Endura FS260 Pro slicks or something like that, very light and breathable.
Thank you, I'll take a look at those.
Another related question. Do the little mesh vents in the front and rear of the sole do anything other than let water in?
I've got the Pro-SL version of the above:

They're waterproof/windproof but not very breathable. My feet are often damp with sweat rather than spray at the end of a ride, but still warm.
You said off road shoes though so presumably you want MTB overshoes?
I've used toe covers before, again on the road bike, and found them really good.
Mesh vents - yes, they let water in, then really cold air so that your feet get colder faster!
Thank you, I’ll take a look at those.

You know what, I never really noticed, unless its proper wet and you get wet anyway, but your feet stay warm enough.
Have used Velotoze and GribGrab and they are ok,until you have to put your foot down/walk a bit,the Summer overshoe/socks can just be a bit too delicate.
