Can't see a thread, who is in then?

Anyone know when the pre-entry closes (weds?)

Desperately looking into a crystal ball after my experience at Erlstoke on Sat 🙂

Yes - 6hr solo again. It's one of my favourite courses so I hope it warms up a bit and stops raining at some point this week.

Have entered the 6 hour but after nearly killing myself at the Gorrick 100 am feeling a bit nervous!
forecast for the weekend is a lot better so will make getting out of bed on Sunday morning a bit easier!

What's the course like if it's been wet?

6 hour vets for me. I rode there in the winter brass monkeys. The course is well drained and will be virtually all rideable. Won't be like Erlestoke.

As long as it's not raining the day of the race it will be firm and fast.

If it rains you'll need new brake pads but there still won't be any claggy slog.

6 hour vets for me too. Will see just how much I am going to suffer after a month of slacking off!

Not sure when pre-entry closes (either today or tomorrow) but there is no entry on the day, so probably best to enter today to make sure.

Is it the usual format? If you are through the finish before the cut off the lap counts? (at erlstoke the lap didn't count so I ended up doing 5hrs of a 6hr race)

Yes, I'm pretty sure it is "long" format, all previous Gorrick events have been, so any laps started before 6 hours is up will count.

Best to check the rules yourself though just in case!
