Went out for an early ride this morning and got fed up with dew being chucked in my face. Do those daft things that sit between fork legs work?

I've not used mud guards for yonks but it was slowing me down today have to stop and wipe glasses.

My Bender Fender probably cuts out around 90% of the stuff flung in my face. Well worth the few quid

I made a 'beef curtain' out of an old tube and zip ties between the fork crown and fork brace. Worked well.

I have since upgraded to the Dairy-o-matic, made out of a segment of old four pint milk container and zip ties, in the style of a Fender Bender. Works even better 🙂

The milk bottle mudguard fashioned after my Mucky Nutz one. Does work fairly well even though its not as close to the wheel.

Not of mine, but basically as per yesiamtom's above. I also zip-tie'd it to the fork brace.

I put mine together in about 10 minutes. With a bit more time and care with the scissors/ties, you could do a pretty smart job.

Exactly as IHN says. You can make it look nice and neat if you take your time. Think I took about 10-15 minutes and unfortunately don't have a bridge on that fork as its rigid. Mine was actually made from a fairly hefty and thick piece of plastic. A milk bottle would have been better though!

I also didn't have colour coordinated zip ties 🙁
