Can any one recommend a thin summer Glove but with palm padding suitable for road riding

Off road I usually ride in POC index air or daniese gloves ( https://www.dainese.com/gb/en/rock-solid-c-gloves/203819264.html?dwvar_203819264_color=WHITE%2FGREEN%2FWHITE&cgid=bike-gloves#start=3)

Great of road with good feel and grip but on road the thin leather palms make them a bit uncomfortable

what im looking for is something similar for the road with a thin single piece cloth back but with a bit of palm padding to help cushion my palms (already using Gel pads under my bar tape and 25c tyres).

most road gloves have a bit of palm padding but are fingerless which I don't get on with

any sugestions?

I get through gloves at a hell of a rate, no idea why. The Troy Lee ones last the longest for me and are very comfy

I just ride with minimal padding gloves or mits and don't grip the bars as hard.

I used some quite nice PedalEd gloves at the weekend at Tro Bro Leon, but also use poc, TLD, assos and Hirzl Grippp tour gloves.

I really like BG grail gloves. Stop numbness completely for me on long rides. Got long and short finger versions. Thin palm except for padding in middle of palm - it just works for me.

Endura Single-track Plus

Moderately padded.

Silicone grip sections

Mesh back

(Slightly pricey, though)

You shouldn’t need loads of padding if your bike is set up right / not using death grip

Should say I was talking about proper cycling gloves with a leather palm, not the silk inner types that kcr mentioned. I use these ones, they're supposed to be for MTB but they're pretty light and definitely for the XC end of the market:

I've got some 661 gloves with a thin almost mesh back, but they're either unpadded or the padding is very thin I can't remember.

Agree with what others have said though, I find any padding too much on a road bike. I use norma (cheap) l bar tape with no gel pads and no gloves. Happy days.

I like the LIzard Skin Monitors. Comfy and no velcro.
