As per title, looking for a place to go riding that is not too far from south west London.

Last year I went to Coed Y Brenin: first day did Penmachno, second day The Beast, and last day Minotaur. Loved all three!

Was thinking on Forest of Dean, any other suggestions?

Cheers!

You have no family on that day, or no family at all? If the latter you've got it all wrong and you need to be going away in September when all the hordes are back to school and work.

@scuttler ha, ha, I have family but they’re on holiday in Spain until school term starts, I’m back to work so have 3 days free.

Big Bike Bash is on in the New Forest (if you can get a ticket, heard through the grapevine more might be available soon)

Don't know what sort of riding you want,  but my suggestion would be bike park wales, BMCC, and either Cwm Carn or FOD.

if you fancy the SW I can send you some routes. 2 days on the Quantock Hills,  one on Exmoor with uplifts.
