After eight happy years, I've started to think about retiring my 2004 Enduro before something irreplaceable breaks and consigns it to the skip.
Ideally, I'd like to get a frame and simply transplant the forks and running gear. I've already got a biggish AM bike, so I'm looking for a lightweight and chuckable short travel (120mm) frame that won't baulk at having a set of Revelations stuck on it.
My first choice is a Spesh Camber, I've seen a brilliant frame only deal and am having serious thoughts about getting it. Can anyone give me any real world feedback on these?
Otherwise, what else is around?

Spent a bit of time on Cambers. If there is a better 120mm bike I'd be very surprised.
I replaced my 04 Enduro in 2008 with an Orange 5. The Enduro had coil Revs and a coil shock so was the wrong side of 30lbs and very plush. The 5 immediately felt more sprightly and chuckable even though a touch more travel than the Enduro. I think if I was going for short travel I'd be looking at a deal on a Giant
Plenty has changed since 04, I had one of the S-Works enduros till it snapped.
Try and get out to some demo's if you can. SC Nickle or TRC may fit the bill, Spec Camber is in there. (Most things can fit the bill really)
Get out and see what fits and feels right 🙂 Half the fun of a new bike is trying lots out.
Trance would be a good bet - the maestro suspension is very good
